Student Water Day:
Sun, August 16 @ 9:00am out in the courtyard. A time of water fun for students 3rd grade through high school. Join us for a fun morning of water games, snacks and hanging out. Please wear appropriate attire that can get wet and bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Blessings Boutique and Thrift:
This Sunday: Store open 10:45-12:45pm. Come in and see new items and spin the wheel to reveal your savings!
Donation Drop Off: Sun, Sept 13th will be the next opportunity to bring in donations. Bring them directly into the store.
Special Needs: Especially need household goods, men’s and children’s clothing.

Food Pantry News:
Changes in the way we distribute the food donations! We will no longer be putting the bags out on the bookshelf. If you’d like to receive a food bag please go see the volunteers at the back closet after 2nd service till 12:45 and they will be happy to assist you. You can also continue to make donations there, please remember that we cannot accept expired goods.
The cleaning crew is in need of extra help during the summer. They meet on Tuesdays from 8-9am. They help with the upkeep of the Worship Center, Fellowship Hall and rest of the building. Click the link to volunteer or for more information.
Change in Children’s Ministry Availability:
For the summer we will not be having Children’s Ministry available for the 11am service. We will have the Fellowship Hall available for those who have children.
Financial Services:
Do you need to have a document Notarized? Need to write or revise a Final Will and/or Living Trust? Help budgeting? These and other related services are offered free of charge by church member Jerry LeMay. Available every Sunday in the Fellowship Hall. Click link for more info.

Baked Goods Now Accepted!
Do you enjoy baking! We are now accepting home baked goods for the Hospitality Hub. If you like to serve in this way, go to the counter in the Fellowship Hall for more information.
Scott’s Letter Available:
To those who were wanting a copy of Scott’s letter that he wrote to his stepdad, they are available in the Lobby at the Information Table.

Please know that none of the pastors will ever email you directly asking for you to give them money or to buy anything for them or the church! There has been a new round of Facebook requests that seem to be from Scott Richards, they are not!

CCF Golf Fellowship:
Fun all year! If you like to play, whether a beginner or experienced, you’re invited to join us for a time of golf and fellowship. We play once a month and the location changes each time. So sign up in the foyer and we’ll send you the latest info of where, when and cost.
AUGUST
Young Women’s Bible Study & Kiddo’s Program:
Formerly “Kiddo’s Bible Preschool & Kiddo’s Mom’s Bible Study” They are now accepting young women (20’s & 30’s) that don’t have children. Sat, Aug 18th @ 9:15am in the Children’s Bldg. For 2-6 yr olds and their moms. Kiddos preschool will have Bible stories, crafts and activities while mom’s and young women will be doing a study of James. Space is limited so click on link to sign up.
Men’s Midday Word & Fellowship:
Thurs, Aug 20th @ 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for a scripture centered devotional time designed especially for men who are available during the day, including retirees. We’ll spend focused time in the Word, followed by prayer and then share a meal together. This is not replacing our Tuesday night men’s group — it’s an additional opportunity for those who can’t attend in the evening.

SEPTEMBER
Starts Thursday, Sept 3rd. Will meet every other Thursday @ 10:0am in the 3rd-5th grade classroom in Bldg B. We’ll be studying Romans. Need the book “LifeChange Study Guide,” can get from Amazon for $7. Facilitator: Lupita Cruz.

Baptisms: We do baptisms as people request. If you want to be baptized, click the link to sign up. Baptisms take place in the Fellowship Hall after the 9:00 service. Bring a change of clothes and a towel.
