Question of the Week: Are all religions equally valid ways to God?
Verses: John 14:6
Ravi Zacharias said in his book, Jesus Amoung Other Gods, ““All religions are not the same. All religions do not point to God. All religions do not say that all religions are the same. At the heart of every religion is an uncompromising commitment to a particular way of defining who God is or is not and accordingly, of defining life’s purpose.” Every single belief system without exception makes claims that contradict all others. People subscribe to each belief for varying reasons. Some do so for cultural reasons. Others hold their beliefs for the sake of their families. Christianity stands alone as the only belief whose founder not only claimed to be God Himself, but proved it through a historically verifiable resurrection from the dead. Eternity is too long a time to gamble with. Know what you believe and why, as well as why you don’t believe the alternatives. The truth is exclusive by definition and is too important to leave to guesswork when eternity is at stake.
