Question of the Week: How do you know if you should attend one church over another?
Verses: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Timothy 5:17, 1 Corinthians 14:3
A Church’s responsibility is to minister to and share God’s word with the people of God and anyone else wiling to listen. Different denominations have preferences in how this is to be done apart from others, and some even emphasize the practice of some traditions over others. However, when all is said and done, the responsibility of the church does not change. If you’re looking for a church, find one that teaches God’s word in its entirety. If a church emphasizes this, then their name, denomination, or preferred practices beyond this are all secondary issues.
